Donnie A. Forbes offers customers and clients more than 28 years of leadership and executive management in telecommunications which speaks to a distinctive blend of technical and management expertise.
He has held various HoD roles including Head of Service Delivery and Head of Infrastructure & Planning with responsibilities for planning, installations, maintenance, network build-out of the local facilities and the management of Cayman’s full national and international network.
During his time as an HoD, he became recognized as an industry-expert in telecommunication network operations and a trusted-advisor to many business customers in particular.
With full engineering proficiency not only in the Cayman Islands, but also across the Caribbean region, plus involvement in the international submarine cable systems arena, he now offers consultation services. Those cover a number of areas within the information and communications technology space, such as operations, project management, human resources, crisis management, facilities and fleet management.
Before joining Cable and Wireless, Donnie held other roles working in other industries, such as, construction, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and security; this extensive array of experience provides a robust foundation for his varied engagements today.
